Mobile container houses installed at mining sites and construction areas must meet four core requirements: site foundation, hoisting and fixation, water, electricity, and fire protection, as well as compliance procedures, while also adapting to the special environmental needs of two types of scenarios.
1. Site and Foundation Conditions
Foundation bearing capacity: For 1-2 story container buildings, the foundation bearing capacity must be ≥100 kPa, while for 3-story buildings, it must be ≥120 kPa. Typically, concrete strip foundations or point foundations are used, with a bearing capacity of no less than 3 tons per square meter.
Flatness and Drainage: The ground slope must not exceed 5%, and the horizontal deviation after the box is positioned should be within 3mm. The base of the box must be 20-30cm higher than the surrounding ground, with a drainage ditch installed around it and a drainage slope of ≥2% to prevent backflow of rainwater.
Site Avoidance Requirements: Avoid underground pipelines, high-voltage power lines, and low-lying flood-prone areas. Keep a safe distance from mining blast zones and stockpiles of flammable or explosive materials on construction sites, ensuring compliance with standard fire safety spacing requirements.
2. Lifting and Structural Fixation Conditions
Lifting Operation Standards: Use a crane with a rated load capacity not less than 1.5 times the weight of the container. Employ container-specific lifting gear to hook onto the four corner fittings. The lifting speed must not exceed 0.5 meters per second. No personnel are allowed within a 3-meter radius of the lifting area. Stop operations when wind speed exceeds level 5.
Structural reinforcement requirements: Adjacent box sections shall be connected using high-strength bolts of M12 or larger, with a torque value reaching 80-100N·m. In high-wind or high-altitude mining areas, ground anchor bolts or wind-resistant tie rods must be installed, and the wind resistance level must meet the requirements for withstanding typhoons of Category 12 or higher in the local area.
Permafrost adaptation: In cold northern regions, the foundation burial depth must exceed the local permafrost line to prevent foundation frost heave-induced box deformation.
3. Water, Electricity, and Safety Support Facilities
Circuit System: Operated by certified electricians, utilizing YJV waterproof cables with all wiring protected by PVC conduits. Distribution boxes must be equipped with leakage protection devices. High-power appliances shall have dedicated wiring, and unauthorized connections are strictly prohibited.
Water supply and drainage system: The water supply pipes are connected using PPR thermal fusion welding, while the drainage pipes have a slope of ≥1%. They are directly connected to designated drainage points at the construction site/mining area to prevent sewage leakage and environmental contamination.
Fire Protection and Corrosion Prevention: Indoors, sufficient fire extinguishers shall be provided in accordance with regulations, and unauthorized modification of the steel structure of the cabinets through cutting is strictly prohibited. In high-corrosion mining areas and coastal regions with heavy salt spray, the weld seams and outer surfaces of the cabinets shall be coated with zinc-rich primer and epoxy topcoat, with anti-rust treatment reapplied every six months.
4. Compliance and Acceptance Criteria
Procedural Filing: For temporary use exceeding one month, an application for temporary construction filing must be submitted to the local housing and urban-rural development department. Mining sites must also comply with the relevant filing requirements for mine safety production management.
Completion Acceptance Standards: Verify that the vertical deviation of the box body is ≤3mm/m, the light transmittance of gaps after closing doors and windows is ≤5%, all connecting screws have a spacing of ≤20cm, the power-on test shows no short circuits or leakage, and confirm no structural deformation or weld cracks before commissioning.
